Croatia – House in BRAČ

A house in Brač that delights: it has a gallery and a garden with an area of 77 m2.

Despite the modern elements in the interior, the owners did not want to “move away” from the breath of the indigenous island and the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Functionality and quality are essential for good space and a pleasant stay – this is the house we present to you. The designer was happy to create a completely different interior with unexpected but perfect elements. The result of the designer’s skill is to combine everything into a sensible whole. Materials, lighting (natural and artificial), space organization and attention to detail were key.

Care was taken not to disturb the flow of the space with the decoration and arrangement. By selecting appropriate materials, furniture, light and lighting sources, environments were created that provide different experiences and atmospheres during the day and at night, just as the owners of this newly renovated house in Brač wanted.

The living room has a ceiling higher than four meters, which gives luxury to this relatively small space, while the gallery with a glass balustrade creates an impression of spaciousness and offers a beautiful view. The house consists of a ground floor with a kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as a bathroom with a laundry room, and on the gallery there are two rooms and a small toilet. The living room with a four-meter ceiling is particularly impressive, adding luxury to this small space with a total area of 150 m2, of which the ground floor is 45 m2, the gallery is 28 m2, and the garden is 77 m2.

The house was built over 50 years ago and needed a new look to achieve the look it has today. The roof was renovated, all installations were replaced, the external walls, staircase and garden were renovated, where, among others, a jacuzzi and a stone fireplace were built.

The space is dominated by wood and stone, because despite the modern style of decoration, the Mediterranean atmosphere of the island where the house is located has been preserved, especially when it comes to the external appearance. All furniture was made to order and according to the design.
